About Marquee
Marquee is developed by DrogeBot. It turns your screen into a message sign and works without an account or an app-operated online service. Contact: drogebot@gmail.com.
Messages and saved settings
Messages you type, saved Library messages, their order, and saved app defaults are processed on your device. Marquee uses them to display your sign and restore settings you choose to save. DrogeBot does not receive this information from the app.
Pictures you choose
If you choose a picture for text or background, the system file chooser gives Marquee access to that selected file. Marquee makes a resized private copy so it can display the picture again. The app does not request general access to your photo library and does not upload your pictures. A file provider you select may use its own online service under its own privacy terms.
No advertising or tracking
Marquee contains no advertising, analytics SDK, tracking service or in-app purchases. It does not collect or share your location, contacts, advertising ID or account information. It has no account registration or developer-operated server. Marquee does not upload your messages, pictures or saved settings. Opening the privacy policy makes the website requests described below.
Privacy policy website
This privacy page is hosted by Cloudflare. Loading it sends ordinary technical request information to Cloudflare, including your IP address, requested URL and browser or web-view details, so the page can be delivered and protected. DrogeBot adds no advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, cookies or browser-storage code to this page. Cloudflare may process request information for delivery and security under its Privacy Policy. Your app content is not attached to the policy URL.
Some existing app versions still open the earlier Google Sites policy address. Requests to that older site are handled by Google under its Privacy Policy. This Cloudflare page does not redirect you to Google. An internet connection is needed to read a hosted policy; app features described as local continue to work offline.
The app displays its configured policy address in an embedded web view and does not bundle a copy of the policy text. The app does not attach your messages, pictures, Library entries or settings to website requests. Website data may be cached by the web view; clearing Marquee storage removes its local web-view data as well.
Intended audience
Marquee is intended for people aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13. Marquee does not ask for a date of birth or create an account. DrogeBot does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the app. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support correspondence, contact drogebot@gmail.com so it can be reviewed and deleted as appropriate.
Local storage, retention and deletion
Saved Library messages, app defaults and imported picture copies remain in private app storage until you remove them or clear the app data. You can edit or delete Library messages in the app. Restoring original app defaults resets the saved configuration but keeps Library messages and does not erase all imported picture files. To remove all locally stored app data, use your device settings to clear Marquee storage or uninstall it. Your device's backup or device-transfer service may retain or restore app data depending on your system settings; manage those copies through that service. DrogeBot does not operate that backup service or have access to those copies.
Support and store services
If you choose to email support, your email provider sends the information you include. DrogeBot uses that correspondence to respond to your request and handle follow-up. Avoid sending sensitive message or picture content unnecessarily. Contact drogebot@gmail.com to ask about deletion of support correspondence. Your app store and device provider may process installation, diagnostic or backup information under their own terms, independently of Marquee's app code.
Security
The app uses the device's private app storage. Keep your device secure and avoid showing sensitive information on a sign where others can read it. No app can guarantee the security of a compromised or unlocked device.
