About this policy
Morse Signal is developed by DrogeBot for users aged 13 and older. This policy describes the Android edition distributed through Google Play. It does not describe a future advertising-supported web edition or a separately configured iOS edition. For privacy questions, contact drogebot@gmail.com.
Messages and settings
Text, Morse code, message presets, settings, and signal analysis are processed on your device. Settings and your message library are retained locally when you save app defaults. The tutorial-seen preference is also saved locally. We do not operate a message-processing server, and the app does not send your Morse activity to DrogeBot.
Camera, microphone, and other permissions
- Camera: Detects brightness changes using the main or selfie camera, optionally records receiver video, and controls supported flashlight output.
- Microphone: Detects Morse tones and optionally records receiver audio.
- Vibration and audio: Reproduce selected Morse outputs using device hardware and media settings.
- Internet: Allows user-requested web content, such as this policy. Morse conversion and signaling do not need a developer server.
Camera and microphone access is user initiated, with runtime permission where required. Capture and outputs stop when the app leaves the foreground. You can manage permissions through Android settings. The app does not request location, contacts, SMS, or broad media-library access.
Optional recordings and imported files
When you arm Rec and begin transmitting, transmitter recordings save timing, dates, text, settings, and changes to settings without saving audio or video. Receiver Rec can save microphone audio or camera video locally when reception begins. Recordings are not created merely by arming Rec.
Choosing Load audio or video file creates a local copy and stores its original filename and import metadata. The original file is not modified. Messages, recordings, and imported media are not uploaded to DrogeBot by the app.
Retention and deletion
Recordings remain locally until you delete them or app storage is removed or reclaimed. In Playback recordings, delete a recording to remove that recording and its saved media. App defaults > Restore original app defaults clears saved settings and presets while keeping recordings and tutorial history.
Android Settings > Apps > Morse Signal > Storage & cache > Clear storage removes local app data; wording varies by device. Uninstalling also removes local app data, subject to operating-system backup and restoration behavior. Keep your own important information elsewhere.
Android backup and device transfer
Android may back up or transfer app data according to your device, account, and platform settings. This app currently permits system backup. Those services are controlled by the operating system and its providers, rather than a DrogeBot synchronization service. Deleting local data does not necessarily delete existing system backups; manage them through the relevant provider settings.
Advertising, analytics, and accounts
This Android edition has no advertisements, in-app purchases, user accounts, analytics SDK, or developer upload service. The app does not sell data or query a purchase history. On-device camera and microphone analysis does not send the input to an online recognition service.
Hosted policy, external links, and support
This privacy page is hosted by Cloudflare. Loading it sends ordinary technical request information to Cloudflare, including your IP address, requested URL and browser or web-view details, so the page can be delivered and protected. DrogeBot adds no advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, cookies or browser-storage code to this page. Cloudflare may process request information for delivery and security under its Privacy Policy. Your app content is not attached to the policy URL.
Some existing app versions still open the earlier Google Sites policy address. Requests to that older site are handled by Google under its Privacy Policy. This Cloudflare page does not redirect you to Google. An internet connection is needed to read a hosted policy; app features described as local continue to work offline.
If you choose to email DrogeBot, your mail provider processes the message, and we receive what you send. We use support correspondence to respond and address your request, retaining it as needed for those purposes and applicable obligations. Contact us about deletion of support correspondence. The app does not automatically attach recordings.
Security and observable signals
Light, screen flashes, sound, and vibration are intentionally observable, rather than encrypted messaging. Local storage and backups depend on device protections. Avoid signals or recordings containing information you do not want nearby people or someone with device access to see or hear. No method of storage or communication is guaranteed completely secure.
Age range
Morse Signal is intended for teens and adults aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. The app does not ask users to enter their age or create an account. If you have concerns about a child’s support correspondence or privacy, contact drogebot@gmail.com.
Updates and contact
We will update this page if our data-handling practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest policy revision. Privacy questions and requests: drogebot@gmail.com.
